About Hyssop Homework
The hyssop branch and its symbology is rooted in Biblical significance, and it resonates deeply on both professional and personal arenas. During the Passover hyssop was used to paint the doorposts. It was also used to wash and cleanse houses. Even King David cried out in repentance for by asking God to cleanse him with hyssop. Finally, on the cross, hyssop was the vessel that lifted the Lord's last sip before he said, "It is finished".
Homework is not limited to tangible work on a house, but also a commitment to work on the inside and matters of the heart. Homework is also a nod to the founder's most rewarding side-work: time spent as a substitute teacher in our public schools; where earnings are invested back into this business to keep costs low for clients. At Hyssop Homework, our community is the passion and people are sincerely prioritized over profits.

Hyssop Homework is a return to a former Summer love: wood restoration, painting, and pressure washing houses. What I thought would be a part-time venture, quickly turned into a full-time calling. After careful thought, deep prayer, and fasting, God repeatedly confirmed that this leap of faith was happening. We haven't looked back and the stories of God's provision, connection, and care throughout the journey are profound. Hyssop Homework is truly a G.O.V.O.S.B. (God Owned Veteran Owned Small Business).
